Fished with Fish Partners last summer and was very pleased. Nymphing for char was great fun. Our guide was personable and knowledgable, so much so that we're hoping he'll guide us for sea trout at the Battle Hill Lodge this September. Eidur is also very easy to work with in arranging trips; highly recommend them if you want a well managed and successful fishing trip!

Such fabulous video! I agree with other posters who think the music is unnecessary or at least should be toned way down in quantity. But it is certainly not a “production issue” the quality of everything is great. Just think about experimenting with more nature sound and less manufactured audio. Cheers!

I suspected that you were using a drone to spot fish and then you conceded that this was a strategy. Big dislike for such c*nty behaviour. II'm out of here, and will hopefully find a cool video made by a genuine fisherman.

Hey Robert, today I have decided to add some comments to your videos. Great video, superb fish and fly to tie. Best thing in this video is one small detail I noticed, how you hold your rod and running line at the butt. It was a game changer for me when casting. It's all about dialing down the small details to be consistent each time. Tight lines !

Hey Robert, great video about the effects on different retrieve styles. I tried it out with mix success but it was more a problem of me not going deep enough but I fixed that. Good stuff !

Hey Robert, great stuff ! It is really a great opportunity for you to be there ! I have traveled to Iceland twice for only normal tourism, it was epic. I hear that there are some guys developping sea trout fishing in the rivers in the south west if I remember correctly. There's a youtube video about it somewhere. I hope to pick up a lot of useful fishing tips from you in Iceland.

Great video, thanks for posting! I was fortunate enough to fish in Iceland last year with my three sons (one of their first times fly fishing) and while we weren’t as remote as this, the land and fish were beautiful, and the people kind and fun. I hope I can go back again

Hey Robert, I have a question about sea trout fishing in a lake. The lake is located in Norway and is connected to the sea by a small stream, with a significant summer sea trout run. My question is which flies you would use for sea trout in a lake? The lake has a population of sticklebacks and brown trout. The local anglers mainly fish there with worms and spinners. Should I still use a sandeel fly or shrimp fly, or even a nymph, or other streamers?

Hej, fin film. Som alltid. Island är en härlig destination 🙏. Dessutom är Island duktiga på att alla som ska fiska ska visa statliga intyg på desinfektionsmedel på allt som berör vatten. Vadare, linor, flugor allt.... Island, oj så många härliga minnen fr alla resor. Jag vill addera, kl 4 om du inte drillar stenhårt el fiskar 35 cm storlek. Inte bra alls. På Island är många vatten kalla som attans. Men, man ska absolut INTE tipsa om kl 4 spön. Ja, om man vill döda fisken. Island och dess natur, privata vatten som är många är underbart fina. Fantastic Robert! A few years ago I had a week in Northern Iceland and had a 5kg brown trout and a 4kg sea run arctic char. The best fish of my life, in the shadow of a volcano beached on the black sand.

I could never fish with a guide since if i dont do the whole sequence myself from finding it to landing it the fish will be worthless to me. I do see why some people want the help froma guide tho.

Great video! In the description you've noted that the line you use is 85+ Sink3, but your line on video is yellow/white, while Sink3 are available only in a yellow/black. Are you cheating on us? 🙂

Could you answer a question what is a sea trout every pair of the world has your definition of a citro is it a brown trout is it a rainbow trout is it a brook trout that has gone to sea

You've listed the line specs in the description - Vision Vibe 85+ #7, but on the website there are WF6-7 and WF7-8, so which one os that? Thank you. Subbed and belled. Keep up the great work!
